Multiple Natural Sheepskin

We offer a selection of multiple rugs and throws.
Doubles matched end-on-end are ideal as a bed runner or over a large chair or sofa. Our side-by-side double and triple give a straight edge to go in front of a fire or alongside a piece of furniture.

For larger spaces, multiples can be made up in larger
sizes of up to ten, or tweleve skins. Our seamstresses use overlocked stitching which ensures that the rug will lie flat and so offer a natural non-slip advantage.

    Jacob Quad

Distinctive, with irregular brown and cream markings (often spotted). Can be dominant brown or white. Jacob sheep take their name from the Old Testament story of how Jacob became a selective breeder of pied sheep. Over the following thousands of years the descendants of Jacob's sheep travelled to Spain via the coast of North Africa. In the 17th & 18th Century, they were imported from Spain by the British landed gentry. The oldest known flock, imported in the 1750's, still graze at Charlecote Park in Warwickshire. The Jacob breed with its splendid horns and distinct spotted fleeces were ideal ornamental sheep to graze with deer in parklands surrounding castles and stately homes. By the end of the First World War many of these flocks had disappeared until in 1969 the Jacob Sheep Society was formed to preserve the breed. Tip: Distinctive markings make eye catching centrepieces. Unless stated otherwise all our sheepskins are machine washable.
