Aptuk Noewahe Education Center for the village of Apetina in the Amazon rainforest of South Suriname, n amed after granman of the Wayana Aptuk Noewahe. The Center will contain a school, a kitchen, workplaces and a cultural function. The center will be made by the villagers themselves. It will be made almost entirely of locally available wood. Sustainable and based on their Wayana heritage the center will play an important role in community for many years to come.
